Today LeagueSite 0.1.0 was released, officially signalling the end of TeamSite development.

For those of you still using TeamSite, I recommend converting to LeagueSite (a thoroughly tested conversion script comes with it). There are a few extra features in it, and dynamic statistics support is schedule by the end of the summer.

Thanks for using TeamSite and keep on keepin' on.

TeamSite 0.1.2 has been released. This release just covers some very trivial bugs and also adds control panel support for the upcoming sweetness in phpWebSite 0.9.2.

Aside from bug fixes, this will be the last release under the TeamSite name. Future development is being moved to LeagueSite. There are a few reasons for this. One of them is that the name "TeamSite" is a copyrighted name for a CMS product, so the chance for confusion and lawyerin' is more than slim. Second is that I wanted to start from scratch with the new phpWebSite Item/Manager class extensions.

Don't worry though. I will provide full conversion support to go from TeamSite 0.1.x to LeagueSite 0.1.0. (0 comments)

My hometown team the Manitowoc Bandits are using TeamSite 0.1.1. Of course I'm their webmaster, so they'd better! Feel free to check it out to see how phpWebSite and TeamSite can be used for the forces of good.

Due to a bug involving zeros and NULLs in game scores which could be a big problem I got 0.1.1 out post haste. Just copy contents of tarball over current teamsite dir and update it through Boost. The update script will set all 0-0 scores to NULL. (0 comments)

TeamSite is a PHPWebSite module that will add roster, statistic, and schedule information onto the PHPWS base. It can be used by groups such as semi-pro and amateur sports teams to create a website for their fans to learn more about the team.

Version 0.1.0 is released. It supports roster and schedule information. Statistics information is not yet supported. I will be working it in for 0.2.0 as time allows. I wanted to get something out for the spring sports ASAP.

My first release of TeamSite 0.1.0 will be out and about soon. In order to get any interested parties using it soon, this first release will not include it's own statistics management system. It will allow you to upload separate web-pages for game detail information, exactly like the ManitowocBandits.com site does now.

Quentin Powalish from the Bandits has been doing some testing and will be doing some more testing to get things as bug-free as we can. I'd like to make the release this coming weekend. (0 comments)

We're in the home stretch for version 0.1.0. I have a couple of easily manageable tasks that will just take time. The roster and schedule views are complete with the exception of displaying other seasons on the schedule view. Thanks to my man Q.T. Powalish for doing some testing and requirements gathering on this.

I doubt that I will have statistics support in version 0.1.0, since it will require dynamic elements and calculations in order to be able to support any sports that comes along. It will take a bit of planning on my part, and I hope to have 0.1.0 out before the end of April. Who knows maybe I'll find the time. (0 comments)

The AppState krew released phpWebSite 0.9.0 (http://phpwebsite.appstate.edu) final this past Friday. phpWebSite is the base application framework for which TeamSite is built, so this release enables us to cruise forward. I'll be shifting into TeamSite gear once my other project, phpwsListings (http://phpwslistings.sourceforge.net) goes final, which will probably be this weekend. (0 comments)

Loaded teamsite into the phpws engine for the first time tonight. It was a glorious thing as many careless typos caused many tragic alerts. They were quickly dispatched and all was well.

So I'm plugging along with getting the basic database interactions complete. The hardest part will be the games. Also whether or not to provide statistics management in this first release is something I'd like input on from the two known possible users. :p (0 comments)

I've done some brute-force template writing. I know I need so me special functions from a couple of the classes, but I should be ready to actually load the module into phpws and see what happens. (0 comments)
